Becky Smith is President of Young Research and Chief Financial Officer of Richard C. Young & Co., Ltd. She graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts with a B.S. in business management. Becky began her investment career as Senior Editor of Richard C. Young’s Intelligence Report. In addition to her role with the monthly investment publication, she was the Editor-in Chief of a series of Special Reports on investing and lifestyle/travel. Her interests in travel and photography have taken her off-the-beaten path to places like the Galapagos Islands. She grew up in Newport, RI, not far from the gates to the U.S. Naval War College. She enjoys boating on Narragansett and Buzzards Bay and skiing in the White Mountains. She has followed her passion in health and fitness, going to places like The Class, in NYC and mastering her AGA stove in Newport. She enjoys spending time in Key West and Paris with her family.

E.J. Smith, Editor-in-Chief
E.J. Smith is Founder of YourSurvivalGuy.com, Managing Director at Richard C. Young & Co., Ltd., a Managing Editor of Richardcyoung.com, and Editor-in-Chief of Youngresearch.com. His focus at all times is on preparing clients and readers for “Times Like These.” E.J. graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with a B.S. in finance and investments. In 1995, E.J. began his investment career at Fidelity Investments in Boston before joining Richard C. Young & Co., Ltd. in 1998.

E.J. plays a Yamaha Recording Custom drum set with Zilldjian cymbals. His first drum set was a 5-piece Slingerland with Zilldjians. He grew-up worshiping Neil Peart (RIP) of the band Rush, and loves the song Tom Sawyer—the name of his family’s boat, a Grady-White Canyon 306. He grew up in Mattapoisett, MA, an idyllic small town on the water near Cape Cod. He spends time in Newport, RI and Bartlett, NH—both as far away from Wall Street as one could mentally get. The Newport office is on a quiet, tree lined street not far from the harbor and the log cabin in Bartlett, NH, the “Live Free or Die” state, sits on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest. He enjoys spending time in Key West (RIP JB) and Paris.

Steve Schneider, Senior Analyst – Energy, Defense, Geopolitics & Technology

Steve Schneider is a seasoned research analyst at Young Research & Publishing and a weapons specialist for Richardcyoung.com, bringing more than 30 years of experience to the firm. Over the past three decades, he has played a key role in managing company websites, serving as network and systems administrator for Richard C. Young & Co., Ltd., while overseeing digital operations and technical infrastructure. Steve also leads website and graphic design for YoungsWorldMoneyForecast.com, Richardcyoung.com, and YoungResearch.com, where he produces custom graphics and political cartoons that support the firm’s research and commentary.

Born in Naples, Italy, with family roots in Malta, Steve brings an international perspective to his work. His father was a U.S. veteran of the Vietnam War, who served his country with distinction, instilling in Steve a deep respect for service and commitment. Outside the office, Steve enjoys an active lifestyle. He is married with two children and spends his free time traveling, skiing, and surfing.

A lifelong baseball enthusiast, Steve has coached the sport for 28 years, working with showcase teams, high school programs, and American Legion teams, helping develop young players and guide them through competitive play. He also spent the last decade as CEO and a player in the Island Baseball League, an adult amateur gentlemen’s league in Newport, Rhode Island, which featured talented local athletes—including former NCAA Division I, II, and III players—looking to continue competing and stay connected to the game.

Dick-Young1[1]Richard C. Young is the editor of Young’s World Money Forecast, and a contributing editor of Youngresearch.com and Richardcyoung.com. Dick grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with a B.S. in investments. Dick began his investment career in 1964 with Clayton Securities in Boston, and founded Young Research & Publishing, Inc. in 1978 to publish Young’s World Money Forecast. In 1989, Dick founded Richard C. Young & Co., Ltd. (Newport & Naples).

Tim Jones, Director of Research

Tim Jones is Director of Research at Young Research & Publishing. Tim joined Dick Young’s team in 2007, and has worked closely with him ever since, with a focus on macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis.
