Taiwan has arrested six people for allegedly stealing trade secrets from TSMC, the worldโ€™s top chipmaker, according to Bloomberg. The suspects, including current and former employees, are accused of trying to access sensitive 2-nanometer chip technology. TSMC has taken disciplinary and legal action, as the case raises concerns over national security and global tech competition. They write:
