Europe is facing a tightening jet fuel supply and is ramping up imports from the US and Nigeria to replace disrupted Middle East flows, reports Reuters. The shortfall is largely tied to the Iran conflict, which has constrained shipments through the Strait of Hormuz—a key source of Europe’s fuel.

US exports have surged while Nigeria is also increasing deliveries, helping ease immediate pressure. However, inventories across major European hubs are declining, and without sustained replacement supply, the region could face fuel shortages, higher prices, and potential disruptions to air travel in the coming months.
