Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the importance of US tech companies remaining active in China, likening the American tech stack to the US dollar as a global standard, according to Yahoo Finance. Following strong Q2 earnings, including $41.1B in data center revenue, Huang confirmed Nvidia is licensed to sell chips in China and is seeking new orders, though current guidance excludes Chinese sales. Any future revenue from the region would be a “bonus.” Huang also discussed Nvidia’s growing networking business and gaming success, highlighting how AI is being brought back into GeForce to enhance performance.
