You don’t need to read the headlines on CNN to understand what’s going on. We live in two Americas. Those who will be controlled by state media, the administrative state, and corporate elites (not in any particular order), and those who wish to live free.
When you see the assassination attempt on former President Trump and “they” tell you he fell, it’s beyond infuriating. But the “news” they report is the truth for a huge chunk of the country.
Monday morning here’s the headlines from The Boston Globe: “FBI searches for answers amid anxiety.”
In other words, everyone should calm down because the FBI will figure this out for you. They will tell you who’s to blame.
And this one: “Investigators say shooter acted alone.” Nothing about the complete failure of the Secret Service to secure the perimeter, why, and how.
“Trump Shooting Is Stunning Failure for Secret Service,” reads the WSJ.
Now we have calls for gun control, and “A Familiar Icon Lies Behind the Attempted Assassination: the AR-15,” reads the WSJ.
The attempted assassination has nothing to do with the weapon. Crazed people will get the weapons regardless of the laws. It’s the law-abiding who pay the ultimate price of gun control efforts, sitting like defenseless ducks in a pond.
We live in two Americas, and it’s not clear which way this will go. Based on Biden’s weak response, he’s got his second wind. He’s still not going anywhere.
