Nvidia has pushed back against reports that CEO Jensen Huang was targeted by a suspected Chinese intelligence asset, Alice Huang, associated with Singapore-based cloud provider Megaspeed. The company described their interactions as normal business dealings, emphasizing that customers have no access to Nvidia trade secrets or sensitive national security information, CNBC reports.

Nvidia also rejected allegations that Megaspeed helped companies circumvent U.S. export restrictions on advanced AI chips, saying the claims were thoroughly investigated and debunked last year. The company added that it had received no government warning about Alice Huang.

The dispute highlights growing U.S.-China tensions over AI technology and semiconductor exports, as Nvidia faces increasing scrutiny over its business relationships and the potential transfer of advanced computing capabilities to China.
