
Ashar Jawad of Insider Monkey reports that NVIDIA is set to launch a new, lower-spec AI chip for China based on its Blackwell architecture, aiming to bypass U.S. export restrictions. Priced between $6,500 and $8,000, the chip utilizes GDDR7 memory and excludes advanced features such as TSMC’s CoWoS packaging. Mass production may begin next month. China, once accounting for 13% of NVIDIA’s sales, has seen a declining market share for the company amid rising local competition and U.S. curbs.
