The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported in its US Import and Export Price Indexes, June 2026, that US import prices increased 0.3% in June following a 1.7% rise in May. The increase was driven by higher prices for nonfuel imports, which more than offset a decline in fuel import prices. Import prices rose 7.1% over the past year, marking the largest 12-month increase since August 2022.
