McLaren is planning a major expansion of its U.S. retail network as America becomes its most important market, accounting for more than half of the company’s global supercar sales. The automaker plans to add roughly five to 10 dealerships over the next two years, potentially increasing its U.S. network by up to 40%, according to Motor1.com.
The expansion is expected to focus on fast-growing luxury markets, particularly in Florida, Texas, Tennessee and Nevada. McLaren also plans corporate-run experience centers in New York, Miami and Los Angeles to strengthen customer engagement and showcase the brand’s racing heritage.
McLaren sees the U.S. push as an important part of its broader turnaround strategy, with greater emphasis on premium customer experiences, personalization through McLaren Special Operations, and new high-performance models.
