According to Al Jazeera, the Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen’s Houthi movement has reported intercepting four drones over Saudi Arabia amid escalating attacks. The incidents have raised concerns about the security of Saudi cities, airports, and oil facilities as the conflict in Yemen intensifies.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said Egypt is ready to help defend Saudi Arabia if formally requested, while emphasizing that it does not seek to expand the conflict. Egypt’s parliament also planned an emergency session to discuss the situation.

The developments highlight growing regional tensions involving Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt, and Yemen. The escalation raises fears of a wider Middle East conflict, while diplomatic efforts remain important to prevent further instability.
