The 2026 Liquids Pipeline Projects Database shows continued investment in U.S. liquid-fuels infrastructure, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Since the start of 2025, eight pipeline projects have been completed and 14 new projects announced, covering crude oil, natural gas liquids, gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel.

Major developments include Enterprise’s 550-mile Bahia Pipeline, expansions in Texas and the Southwest, pipeline conversions between crude and NGL service, and the restart of idle California pipelines. Newly announced projects include expansions and optimization efforts involving major systems operated by Enbridge, Kinder Morgan and others.

The database now tracks more than 280 liquids pipeline projects dating back to 2010, reflecting ongoing efforts to expand, modernize and reposition the U.S. pipeline network.
