Blue Moon Metals, based in Toronto, announced the acquisition of 33 tungsten and antimony projects across the western U.S., expanding its position in critical minerals including tungsten, antimony, germanium, and gallium. The projects are located near its existing Springer tungsten complex in Nevada and Apex germanium-gallium-copper project in Utah.

The portfolio includes several historically productive properties in Colorado, Idaho, Arizona, and Nevada, with some producing high-grade tungsten and antimony during periods of major strategic demand. Four tungsten projects—Oregon Mine, Wildhorse Canyon, Williams, and Hub Mines—have been identified as priorities for potential direct-shipping ore to Springer.

Blue Moon plans to advance several projects toward drilling over the next two years and sees the potential for direct-shipping tungsten ore within three years. At least five properties also contain historically high-grade antimony, potentially providing another domestic source of a critical mineral increasingly important to U.S. supply chains.

The acquisition is expected to close in October 2026, subject to regulatory approval, and represents Blue Moon’s push to build a larger U.S.-focused critical-minerals platform.
