Even with the recent pullback in stocks, they’re not exactly cheap. Which is why owning a stock portfolio that pays above-average dividends continues to make sense to Your Survival Guy. I want you to be paid in this market, and if you don’t need the income, reinvest in shares on sale. The S&P 500 cyclically adjusted total return P/E ratio from Shiller is still at 35.5, which is not exactly bargain bin pricing.
