The US Department of Energy reports that the US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright joined officials and industry leaders at the Three Seas Initiative Summit to announce major private investment deals across Central and Eastern Europe focused on energy and infrastructure expansion.
Key agreements include the launch of the “Trump Peace Pipelines Framework,” aimed at expanding natural gas infrastructure to increase European access to US liquefied natural gas (LNG), alongside broader efforts to strengthen regional energy security. Additional outcomes cover nuclear cooperation with Croatia, including small modular reactor development, and large-scale digital infrastructure investment, including a major AI-focused data center project.
The initiative highlights growing US LNG exports and deepening energy and technology ties between the United States and Central and Eastern European countries.
