In times like these, it’s hard to know if what you’re doing is right for your situation. That’s why Your Survival Guy always likes to fall back on taking a hard look at the areas of life you can control.
Beyond diet and exercise, I’m thinking about a financial health check. Are you a nervous wreck watching the markets and holding on too tightly to certain stocks? Do you wish you had more money in areas that aren’t as volatile?
Now that we’re more than halfway through the year, think about it as you would on your birthday. In other words, ask yourself how you’re livin’ and try to make adjustments accordingly.
Yesterday’s inflation report came in lower than expected, but inflation is still an issue, especially in your retirement life. You don’t want to wake up five or ten years from now, wishing you had made a change or avoided one you’ll regret. You got this.
Action Line: Remember, you’re not only fighting yourself, you’re also fighting other forces that you can’t control. When you want help, email me at ejsmith@yoursurvivalguy.com. And click here to subscribe to my free monthly Survive & Thrive letter.
