In his first 100 days of a new term, President Donald J. Trump has announced over $5 trillion in new U.S.-based private sector investments, projected to create more than 451,000 jobs, reports the White House. These investments span advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, pharmaceuticals, clean energy, and data infrastructure. Major companies, including IBM, Merck, NVIDIA, TSMC, Apple, and Johnson & Johnson, have committed billions to expanding or launching operations in the U.S., citing pro-growth policies such as the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. In addition to domestic firms, foreign entities from Japan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and others have pledged multi-trillion-dollar investments. The administration writes:

President Donald J. Trump has secured overย $5 trillionย in new U.S.-based investments in his first 100 days, which will create more than 451,000 new jobs as he sets the stage for a new era of American prosperity. From advanced manufacturing to cutting-edge artificial intelligence infrastructure, these historic investments โ€” spurred by President Trumpโ€™s unwavering commitment to revitalizing American industry โ€” will reinforce the U.S. as the global leader in innovation and economic growth.
