Your Survival Guyโ€™s learning he can read all the books in the world about how to raise a puppy (you can read Parts 1, 2, and 3 here, here, and here). But what matters most is the time spent working with him. I forgot how much work puppies are. Maybe thereโ€™s a reason for that.

We all want the perfect puppy. But what Iโ€™m re-learning is that you need to take baby steps. All week, weโ€™ve been working on getting Stanton comfortable going into his crate. This takes patience. Like you read about.

The good news is Stantonโ€™s learning. Thatโ€™s not to say heโ€™s always good. Heโ€™s a puppy, after all, living with two wild kittens that he canโ€™t get enough of. Yes, they can run to higher ground, but they love the attention.

It comes down to time and patience.

Action Line: When youโ€™re ready to give your portfolio the time and patience it deserves, let me know, but only if youโ€™re serious. Email me at ejsmith@yoursurvivalguy.com
