Welcome Aboard: How to Put an End to the Virus

July 16, 2020 By E.J. Smith

You know if you want to put an end to the virus, let Biden win. The silence will be deafening.

This is why talk about vaccines and keeping kids (and teachers) safe by staying home is a joke. It’s all political.

Vaccines are a crapshoot, especially if they’re rushed to market, because the first incentive for vaccine producers is to make money not to protect you. It reminds me of variable annuities—the toxic waste gumming up many retirement portfolios—they do more harm than good, and make a lot of money for the salesmen.

How about the kids? If it’s about the kids, then open up the schools and let parents decide, not the union leaders. With union leaders at the helm, it’s all about the money—just follow the money.

Kids aren’t dying from COVID beyond the rate of other risks they take every day by simply getting out of bed. And if teachers don’t want to teach—then don’t teach. There are plenty out of work Americans who could fill the ranks, trust me. It would be a union killer.

OK, if you want to wear a mask, fine. But don’t tell me you’re keeping America safe when you’re wearing one driving alone in your car. Come on, people. If you believe hucksters like Cuomo, the sick would still be getting shuttled to the nursing homes. Governors are supposed to work for us, not harm us, not take away our most basic freedom—to work.

How about that special place called CHOP out in Seattle? Yesterday a friend of mine who lives in Bellevue said his buddy wanted to check it out but was stopped at the gates. Apparently, fences work for the Marxists when they control the entrance.

Here’s what you’re telling me in my conversations with you. You want to know what guns to buy, where to buy them, and how to get trained up. I want you to develop your network of connections, so you never run out of what your family needs.

I hope you’re doing the work you need to do. Americans are not about letting others run our lives for us, especially those in power. Government is NOT the answer.

The fruits of self-reliance are here for you to harvest. We’re in this together. Let’s keep in touch. Sign up for my Survive & Thrive newsletter, but only if you’re serious. Space is limited (not really), and I’ll pick-up the postage (it’s free). Welcome aboard.

He grew up in Mattapoisett, MA, an idyllic small town on the water near Cape Cod. He spends time in Newport, RI and Bartlett, NH—both as far away from Wall Street as one could mentally get. The Newport office is on a quiet, tree lined street not far from the harbor and the log cabin in Bartlett, NH, the “Live Free or Die” state, sits on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest. He enjoys spending time in Key West and Paris.
