Apple has agreed to a $250 million settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit alleging it misled customers about advanced AI-powered Siri features promoted alongside the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 lineup, according to Wired. Plaintiffs claimed Apple advertised enhanced “Apple Intelligence” capabilities that were delayed or unavailable at launch, leading consumers to buy devices based on features that did not yet exist.

If approved by the court, eligible US customers who purchased qualifying iPhone models between June 2024 and March 2025 could receive between $25 and $95 per device, depending on the number of claims submitted. Apple denied wrongdoing but said it settled the case to remain focused on developing and delivering future AI features, including the delayed Siri upgrades expected later in 2026.
